Bonbon is a 'He' and he is in hospital

We had to take Bonbon to the hospital on his last night with us, he was vomiting, whimpering really loudly and just generally in a bad way - he's got an illness called Parvovirus and it attacks puppies that have not been vaccinated. He is on a drip and will have to be so for the next 5 days. He is seriously ill and there is no knowing if he will pull through. The poor little guy, I feel so sorry for him. Apparently this virus is impossible to get rid of from walls, floors etc- it takes a year or so - the only sure way is through a complete paint over! Luckily it doesn't affect humans nor cats nor adult dogs - Dick could still be in risky territory so we have to keep an eye on him! Today it will be a thorough clean up job. We have already thrown away cushions and throw overs.
Manolo and Loly have been great, they are still going to keep Bonbon if he recovers which fingers crossed he will do. He is a hunting dog race and they are tough little nuts.
