Jen Doherty and Guildhall Press

Jen is a member of the Poetry Chicks and an editor for Guildhall Press. I met her about 3 years ago online when I first started taking a peep into poetry boards. She edited the EVE PROJECT - an Anthology of Creative Work from women in the North West of Ireland. I am proud to have been part of that. Jen is now compiling an Anthology of 60/100 worders - little pieces of fiction or prose poems compiled from writers from all over the world. Initially, most of these writers would have met online to write and crit together. This is a really innovative project and is called the Wonderful World of Worders (WWW). I have been lucky again to have had 7 worders accepted for this anthology which is coming out in July of this year. A poet friend Annie Bien has also had work accepted. It is very exciting. Jen is a great editor to work with and a great Poet and Journalist. I hope to see her perform with the Poetry Chicks when I'm in Ireland in August.
