40 Shades of Green

The Canarian GREENS have come into power in our Local Council which is fantastic. Originally, they had 1 Green Councillor but now they have 3. They are in coalition with the conservative party the PPs but at least they are there. I hope to go and speak to them this week to see if we can get the campaign to sensitise the public about chained dogs and the mistreatment of hunting dogs. Before the election, I had spoken to the conservative Councillors about initiating the campaign, they were all 'yes, yes, yes' but at the end of the day they did nothing. It was just blowing hot air!
I really, really hope they react positively. Fingers crossed.

Thanks arlene. : )
The beach is about 25 minutes away... : ) ...we are in Gran Canary Island, in Santa Brigida the actual village is called La Atalaya. It's more rocks, valley and windy roads than beaches though ; )
