Fixing Links and A Mud Slinging Festival

Have spent quite a while sorting out my poem links ...all were as dead as dodos and I had abandoned the idea of knuckling down to fixing them ...until today, that is, I chose the exact moment when the drums were beating for the mud festival goers to plunge into the mud, the hose pipes were on stand by for the hose down...this is what happens when the village prides itself on its ceramic pots - once a year the locals get to roll in the mud to honour the tradition! So got the links fixed and am not going to amble up to the village to see the showdown - the risk is in arriving too early and being dragged into the mud! The Spanish sure know how to host a festival...and with the added glee of being European Football champions - there is no stopping them : )

Lovely photo.

I guess there's more celebrating with Rafa Nadal winning Wimbledon today!
