NaPoWriMo

In a moment of madness I thought I was going to partake in NaPoWriMo on the Everypoet forum. I even went as far as to sign up for it and took part for 2 days...the atmosphere there is contagious and there are quite a number of exciting poets participating - Rob and Dave being two whose work is very interesting.
After finishing 30 poems on ITWS 30:30 on April 2nd and previously having completed quite a few 10:10s there, it has got to the stage where I have poetry tripping me up every time I turn on the computer : ) I have to knuckle down and revise and start sending stuff out again, it has been ages and my efforts to get published more in Ireland have been practically non-existent so must give myself a shake and crack to it! Therefore to honour NaPoWriMo month, I'll be revising, submitting and reading lots of poetry from old and new poets (to me). I've just received Denise Duhamel's poetry and another fellow poet from ITWS, Jayne Pupek's work - I'll be delving into those and I've also ordered Kevin Higgins latest book 'Time Gentlemen, Please '

Hi Liz,
You are so much smarter than I, I like you am tripping on my words, as I believe we did the lasst three rounds together. I should take a page from your book and knuckle down. I am sending you postive vibes for the revisions and submissions!!! If you need practice you can revise some of my mine!!!
big hugs
:) brenda
Hi Brenda,
Lovely to hear from you - not so sure about the being smart part - it's now two weeks into April and no revisions nor submissions have been made yet : ) I may have to eat my hat on that one - am quite bogged down at the moment with all things non-poetic...wish the day had more hours. : )
Hope NaPo is going well.
My hat is off to you and saluting you. : )
hugs
Liz
