wonderful (& wearying?!) all this work. thanks again SOOOOOOO much for the lovelies in the post. pet those puppies (who always seems to *need breaks*;-0) XoX
Thanks for stopping by - yeah, Brenda, we hope to raise that vine...it's the oldest one we have...just counted 10 vines, we found 2 more amongst the undergrowth this week! : )
Shucks, Nic, know what you mean about those doggies craving breaks : )...just got a gas stove today so breaks will be even more wholesome and fulsome! : ))
Collin, just read your blog account of what happened in Atlanta - how scary! Nature can sure be the big-heavy when she so wants. Really glad you escaped unscathed.
Barbara, just tidying up at the minute...so many trees to water and so little energy left to plant for now...Vladi is getting itchy fingers to get the spuds down though : ) Hey, enjoy the Festival - would be great to be there but alas no chance : )
hope the farm work is going well, liz -- i just love the pictures! can't wait to see your outdoor writing area once you get it going.
as for páidi's love affair with dried-up-rat-carcass... that would have had me running in the opposite direction. what's worse than a rat is a dead rat in the mouth of your dog... with the dog running towards you. it's scarier than a throng of brain-eating zombies. hee.
Páidi's love affair with rats has progressed to live ones- he hangs out in the undergrowth awaiting 'things'and the other day, we heard unmerciful screams and there was Páidi putting the finishing touches to a rat! He's quite an old dog too, 13 years, so don't know where his new killer instinct has come from... : )
Farm work is going good - I'm getting a pedometer to measure the kms I go through each day (will be an excuse not to officially walk!)
Brain-eating zombies-I've often felt I've had a few of those guys hanging out in the old grey matter : )

Liz,
The farm looks so beautiful, I love the vine, will you raise it, and when it blooms, it will provide shade, sounds simply wonderful. Big hugs.

Want to help us come clean up in Atlanta? ;-)
You're really making progress, Liz. How soon before you're growing things?
PS - thanks for your warm wishes!
