A Favourite Poetry Read...

Rattle is a print magazine but its editor
Tim Green also puts up a new poem a day on Rattle's Blog. The poems are always of a very high quality...the recent favourites I've read have been:
The Man with the Corpse on His Shoulders by James Cushing
Advice Given to Me Before My Wedding by Jeannine Hall Gailey
Definitely worth exploring.
And talking of such - readings and exploring - I have got a few readings lined up in Ireland for Sept. The details are at The Wrong Miracle

Rattle is a fantastic mag.
Sure is! : )
Never heard of Rattle before but really liked 'The man with the corpse on his shoulders' So many great mags out there so litle stamps -Ah well.always wondered what Jasmine was like in full bloom(is that now?)It has been my mission to get ours to grow and flower for the last 3 or 4 years without suuccess mainly thanks to every greenfly in the whole of europe infesting it every spring-feckers!
wooohoooo! love the book blog, liz! i'm so happy that you're getting word out about it. damn, but ain't that wine tempting. hehe. i'll think about september and joining the cheering squad in the crowd.

TFE, you can enter online with Rattle and they answer you within a month or so - dead easy ; )
That's the jasmine last year, it's on its way to being the same now -it doesn't get much tending to from us but come end of Jan., like clock-work, it blooms.
Bloody greenflies, not to mention the bucketing rain...ours must surely have an easier time of it than yours to survive! A wash in fairy-liquid is suppose to get shot of greenflies, I think (no expert here, just hearsay ; ))
Arlene, how goes it girl? Just sent you a wee e-mail with the proofs included ; )
Hey, I'll save you a bar stool and the tallest wine glass! ; )
