Lying Low and Feeling High
I'm just enjoying these days of not too much bread-and-butter work but loads of this-and-that work - bathroom stuff bought and paid for, plumber spoken too, house 'nearly' tidied up, 10 poems written and accounted for, money plant watered and now blooming for the first time ever!, eyebrows plucked, spanish books dusted and set out, friends caught up with and stories swapped, Foxy settled in the kennels....could totally get used to the life of leisure Who Needs Work? Could totally get used to a life of coming and going - would never be bored that's for sure....oh dream on then! It isn't going to happen.
Submitting-wise, I haven't done so in yonks...well since last June...have kind of lost the enthusiasm for submitting, waiting and the thrill of getting accepted - sure hope it comes back as I loved it when I felt it.

that's a shame about not being able to keep foxy, liz. i remember how sorry i was we couldn't keep the only male pup (because we were keeping two females) for the same reasons. wouldn't it be fab to have an island all to yourself with lots of pooches and just watch them do it all day and multiply? **grin**
i know what you mean about the submission slump. i had a bit of that in july and august. the break was good though — i kind of re-charged. hope you get back to it soon!

Hey Arlene,
A possibility on the Foxy-front is that a really nice neighbour may take her - not sure yet - would be brill though as then I'd get to visit her : ) Dick is acting real love-sick - he had a 24 hour non-stop session of sewing his wild oats while she was in heat - it was sheer madness about here!
