Polly and Patch
Last Tuesday we inherited 2 more animals (through tragic circumstances, their minder died)....so just to give a Big Blog Welcome to Polly the Poodle and Patch the Kitten. And here they are (I foresee all sorts of escapedes ahead, hopefully of the fun variety!):

Awwww.... so sweet! When my mother passed away, we had to find a home for her two dachshunds. We were so very grateful to the person who offered to take them home. Wonderful that you have these two new animal friends, and I'm sure they're grateful, too.

Thanks Jeanne and TFE, they are settling in well....very amusing to see them play together...needless to say Patch wins all battles hands/paws down! ; )
So, the poodle's a boy? wOMAN, HE NEEds (oops, caps lock) a hair cut if his hair is like tha picture! Very girly! Hehe. Cute. They must be very sad right now. I wonder if animals grieve for long? Happy new family.
hee-hee, Rachel, too true he's a boy...; )) He really is an adorable softie and we often refere to 'him' as 'she' too...a slip of the tongue and that.... ;)But yes, he must get a hair-cut as the long-haired look is for the armchair poodle and this poodle is a 'run-through-undergrowth (and overgrowth)' type of poodle, trying to de-seed and de-sticky-grass him is becoming a full time job!
