Busy Days are Flaming

Loads going on - both great and small. On the writing front it's a case of refine-slash-refine-more-return-to-original...I am hopeless at revising work and need a space of at least 3 months before I can let go with a small hammer and tongs. : ) Anyway, I'm trying as want to begin sending some work out - haven't done so in a few months and lazyitis is leaving paw marks over the shadowy pinch-an-inch parts!
Study wise - I've got to pass the highest level Spanish exam to be able to work in the public sector here so needless to say I am bogged down in the subjunctive tenses and trying to say 'euros' properly in Spanish (continuing to say the moneda nueva isn't washing anymore)- hubby says it's funny to hear a near proficient Spanish speaker unable to pronounce euros and sounding like a child with a slippery gobbstopper in her mouth when attempting to do so. : (
Then there are holidays - maybe Cape Verde, maybe Turkey,(maybe both) definitely Ireland ....oh boy is Mr Piggy bank going to feel the pinch especially when he isn't as porky as he should be. Luckily we don't have a morgage and our needs are little once we get there ...still it could be lean, lean times while piggy is being fattened.

good luck with the studies, liz! the euro pronunciation is a riot. even the eye-talians say it weird.
